This picture takes me back to my days as the publican at the Swan Inn in St. Peter Port. I began renting the pub in 2006 after retiring, and now, 19 years later, I still look back with gratitude and fondness.
The Swan was never just a pub — it was a community hub where friends, colleagues, and neighbors came together. More than a drink, it offered conversation, support, and laughter.

Esta foto leva-me de volta aos tempos em que fui o publican do Swan Inn, em St. Peter Port. Comecei a arrendar o pub em 2006, quando me reformei, e agora, 19 anos depois, recordo com muita gratidão e carinho.
O Swan nunca foi apenas um pub — era um ponto de encontro, um verdadeiro centro comunitário, onde amigos, colegas e vizinhos se reuniam. Mais do que uma bebida, oferecia conversa, apoio e muitas gargalhadas.
Serei sempre grato à nossa clientela fiel e a todos os que nos apoiaram ao longo dos anos. Acredito que esta foto foi tirada nos anos 90 — uma pequena janela para aqueles dias inesquecíveis. 🙏❤️
